Flames Studio

Terms of use

These terms apply when you download or use Flames Studio, or subscribe to a paid plan. By using Flames Studio, you agree to them.

Beta software

Flames Studio is in beta. It’s used in real services, but it can still have bugs. Try new versions before a service, and keep a backup of your library (Settings → Export). Flames Studio is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always work without errors.

Using Flames Studio

You may install the free version on as many computers as you like. You may not resell Flames Studio, remove its copyright notices, or try to get around its plans, access codes or copy protection.

Paid plans

Your content and licences

Your songs, media, notes and services are yours. You’re responsible for having the right licences for what you project, record or stream, such as a CCLI licence for song lyrics and a streaming licence for music you broadcast. Bible translations remain the property of their publishers and are included for use inside Flames Studio only.

Online services

Sign-in, subscriptions and the phone remote relay depend on online services. We work to keep them available, but they may sometimes be interrupted. A paid plan keeps working for up to 7 days without internet. Please don’t misuse these services, for example by overloading the relay or trying to access other people’s accounts.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by the software not working during a particular service or event. Our total liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Flames Studio changes. We’ll update the date at the top of this page, and email signed-in accounts about significant changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
